According to the data of microsite Transparencia Proactiva COVID-19 (Proactive Transparency COVID-19) enabled by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI), 470 new requests to federal public institutions were submitted from May 16 to May 31.
A total of 3,528 requests have been submitted from January 10 to May 31, such requests have been analyzed, systematized, and classified by the INAI in 12 theme categories. From said categories, those regarding the budget for COVID-19 —including agreements and financial supports— includes more than one third of the total access requests.
Currently, the microsite has 43,935 views, which confirms the need of boosting Proactive Transparency actions and strategies in times of emergency so that the society may have useful and quality information for making decisions.
